Tuning
$200 - 250
A routine full tuning - recommended at least once or twice per year. If your piano needs to be tuned but is otherwise in good working condition, this is the option for you! I am happy to include minor adjustments/repairs in this service, as time permits.
$250 - Standard price
$200 - “Frequent Tuner” discount ~ for customers who have purchased a tuning from me within six months prior to the current transaction
$225 - “Frequent Tuner” discount ~ for customers who have purchased a tuning from me within one year (but more than six months) prior to the current transaction
$200 - Institutional discount ~ For schools, studios, places of worship
Premium Service
$325
This is your best option if your piano has not been tuned for quite some time, and/or if there are other adjustments needed.
This package includes a full tuning, plus any of the following services as needed: pitch raise, minor regulation services (such as key leveling and other adjustments to improve play), minor repairs/voicing, cleaning, tightening of action screws, etc.
Regulation
$800 (upright) - $2200 (grand)
A full regulation, which goes far above and beyond the premium service package, is an in-depth process of many adjustments to the action components, keys, dampers, hammers, pedals, etc., to bring your piano to the best playing condition possible - how it was intended to function from the factory!
A full regulation for an upright piano will take one or two full days of work. The goal is to complete the job within one day of work; however, sometimes spillover into a second day is necessary, so it’s essential to plan for this possibility!
A full regulation for a grand piano is a much more intensive process and generally involves me taking home the “action” of your grand piano. The action, which is easily removed from the cabinet of the piano, is the keyframe, keys, and all of the mechanisms between the keys and the strings.
There are other services that I can offer for your piano which don’t fit neatly into the other listed service packages. These services include things such as voicing, re-bushing keys, ivory reconditioning, intensive cleaning, bridge repair, hammer replacement, string replacement, etc.
These services will be priced / bid on a case-by-case basis.
